This page explains what Wabash Systems LLC (“Wabash Systems,” “we,” “us”) collects through wabashsystems.com, what we do with it, who we share it with, and your rights. It's written in plain English instead of legalese on purpose.
Who runs this site
Wabash Systems LLC, an Illinois limited liability company. The business address is on file with the Illinois Secretary of State. For questions about anything in this policy, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you fill out the contact form, we collect your name, email, phone number (if provided), and the message you typed. You can choose to opt into email or SMS updates — if you do, we record that consent.
When you sign up for the audit checklist (via the modal or the sticky bar), we collect your email address. If you check the SMS box, we also collect your phone number.
When you book a consultation, we use Cal.com to handle the calendar and meeting setup. Cal.com collects your name, email, and any answers you give to their booking questions. Their privacy policy is at cal.com/privacy.
Server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs IP addresses and basic request metadata for security and abuse prevention. We don't directly use these logs for marketing or tracking individuals.
Analytics. If we run analytics tools (Google Analytics 4 or Cloudflare Web Analytics), they record anonymized page-view data — what page you visited, how you got here, your approximate location by country/region, and your device type. They do not identify you personally.
What we don't collect
- We don't collect payment information on this site. If you eventually pay an invoice, that goes through a third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe), not through us directly.
- We don't track you across other websites. There's no Facebook pixel, no advertising retargeting, no cross-site cookies.
- We don't sell your data. Ever. To anyone.
How we use what we collect
- To reply to you. If you sent us a message or booked a consultation, we use your email and phone number to get back to you.
- To deliver resources you asked for. If you downloaded the audit checklist, we email you a copy and subsequent useful content over the following two weeks.
- To send marketing (only if you explicitly opted in). You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link at the bottom — that immediately removes you from all marketing.
- To improve the site. Aggregated analytics tell us which content is useful, what's broken, and where to focus our writing.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of third-party tools to run the business. Each one only gets the data it needs to do its job:
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, handles email forwarding for our domain, and runs our serverless functions. Sees IP addresses and request metadata. Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- Resend — sends contact form notifications to our inbox. Sees the email content you submit through the form. Resend's privacy policy.
- Klaviyo — manages our email and SMS marketing lists. Sees your name, email, phone number (if provided), consent records, and engagement metrics (opens, clicks). Klaviyo's privacy policy.
- Cal.com — handles booking calendars. Sees what you submit when scheduling a consultation. Cal.com's privacy policy.
- Google — if Google Analytics 4 is active, sees anonymized page-view data. Google Workspace also handles email if we use it for our business address. Google's privacy policy.
We will not share your data with anyone else unless we're legally required to (subpoena, court order, etc.) or you specifically ask us to.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages and email signups: kept as long as you're on our list. Unsubscribing or asking us to delete your data removes it within 30 days.
Server logs: retained by Cloudflare per their retention policy (typically 30 days for raw logs, longer for aggregated data).
Analytics data: kept in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely. We can't tie it back to you specifically.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you have these rights with respect to your data on this site:
- Access — ask us what we have on you.
- Correction — tell us if anything's wrong and we'll fix it.
- Deletion — ask us to remove your information and we'll do it within 30 days.
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from emails or SMS at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by emailing us directly.
- Portability — request a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
If you live in California (CCPA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), or anywhere covered by GDPR, you have additional specific rights granted by those laws. Email [email protected] and we'll handle the request the same way regardless of which regulation applies.
Cookies
We don't set advertising cookies. Cloudflare may set a small number of essential cookies (e.g., for security and bot detection). If we run Google Analytics, it sets analytics cookies. Browsers expose controls for clearing cookies and using "Do Not Track" signals; we honor those where applicable.
Children
This site isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially — new tools, new data collection, anything that affects your rights — we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, if the change is significant, send a notice to anyone on our email list at the time.
